In this concept I took a more dynamic interpretation of Qantas' visual guidelines by transforming simple icons into expressive illustrations. The outlined style enabled more nuanced storytelling, enhancing both visual appeal and clarity. These storyboards brought the Qantas Pay narrative to life and formed the foundation for two animated explainer videos—guiding users through the app’s everyday and travel benefits.

The brief

I created two 90-second explainer videos for the launch of Qantas Pay—a refreshed version of Qantas’ travel money card. Aimed at younger Australians (18–34), the videos showcase how the card works, its key features, and how to sign up. The messaging needed to be bright and trustworthy, with one video focused on domestic everyday spending, and the other on international travel—highlighting that Qantas Pay earns you Qantas Points when you spend your own money, at home or overseas.
